Mick is considered an expert at fracking, waterflooding, production optimization, completions and artificial lift. While working in Egypt, Mick was instrumental in fracking the first horizontal well in the Western Sahara Desert and he personally designed and pumped the first successful frack from the decks of an offshore drilling rig in the Gulf of Suez. He is the former owner/operator of manufacturing businesses in Oklahoma. He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Oklahoma and is a former financial planning and analysis consultant for OXY USA.

In 2014 Mick climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest summit in Africa. He is the author of several magazine articles on personal and business effectiveness and has published two books. He is also a licensed glider pilot and holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Mick earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious University of Tulsa. He is a past president of the University of Tulsa Mechanical Engineering advisory board. He is also the past moderator of Bethany Christian Church and is an ordained minister.

Mick, and his wife of 25 years, are the proud parents of 5 children.
